Default Guinness- What happened?

I converted a deep freezer into my first kegerator. The line froze when I first hooked up my keg of Guinness. I bought a temp control and that took care of the problem. About a week ago I changed ext cords and didn't properly plug in the temp control and the line froze again. Since that happened the guinness has a tart taste. Still produces a foam but does not sit for black and tans and mixes with the Bass. I think it went flat due to the line freezing several times. Has this happened to anyone else?

What I would do is try to pick up the keg itself. I had a similar problem a while back and come to find out the actual keg had turned to "slush" which did affect the pour. I let it thaw, and then it poored much better, but it never did taste right after that point.

I'll bet that is exactly what happened. It pours right now but the taste is off. Darn, that sucks.

Default guinness convertion kit

Hey guy, Since you guy are talking about Guinness I'm gonna go and ask a question. I just bought the EdgeStar Kegerator KC2000 and i want to do a convertion to pour Guinness. I was wondering what do i really need other than the MICRO MATIC Guinness Stout Beer kegerator door Kit and if that's the kit i need for my Kegerator. Any help would be really helpful.
Thanx,
