Default Beer hose length

I've read through the forum on this topic and correct me if I'm wrong, the lenght of the beer hose is a personnal preference. As long as the temp and pressure are correct the beer will pour fine. The lenght will only slow or speed up the rate of pour. I have my kegerator giving me perfect pours, but I've only had Yuengling so far. I want to expand to other beers and am curious if certain ones need longer or wider diameter lines. Thanks for your help.

Correct, line lenght only changes pour speed. Different diameter will cause foam. If you have perfect pours....leave it alone !!!

Good question, i have about 4 ft of beer hose at 10 PSI and mine pours like A dragster. Extending the length of this hose will help then?

Yes, the longer the hose the slower the pour. If yours is a dragster, start with eight feet and trim down if too slow till you get the rate you want.
