Tap & Serve 1/4 Barrell Kegerator

Got a Q about the Tap & Serve 1/4 Barrell Kegerator. Is the tower cooled on this? I've been reading that a 'beer cooled' line will cause foam. I'm assuming that since the tower is connected directly to the fridge that the lines are cooled from the fridge right?
