Default newbie

has anyone ever made a kegerator out of a small chest freezer? I am wanting to do this. It is an older apt. size freezer and works good. I am new at this and have never had a kegerator before. I have researched kits and such but my main question is can i make the freezer work. It can be turned down and i am working with the temp now to see if i can get it above freezing.
Thanks

That's one of the more popular conversions that people do. Take a browse through this forum and you'll see some cool units made out of chest freezers.

I converted a chest freezer, it's fairly easy.

I took pictures throughout my build process
