yep...
I just got one of these and I've been enjoying it for about a week now. All the hardware that comes with it is from MicroMatic. I also really enjoy the large drip tray as I'm a noob and have wasted way too much to foam over the past week. After avidly reading these forums for a few days I think I've learned enough to have that under control now.
There is an appliance store that sells them on eBay for $699 plus about $130 shipping, cheaper than I could find anywhere on the web. That's where I got mine from and it was delivered within a week.

Thanks for the reply.
The ebay one is exactly the one I have my eye on.
I am going to approach a few local Frigidaire dealers and see if they can order one for me and match the price. IF the place on ebay can sell it for 700 bucks, why can't the local place.....
I do worry about the thing being trucked from Chicago. I hope it arrives in one piece. I am in NJ.

I didn't have any issues with shipping, they let you inspect it before taking delivery. There was a tiny dent on the side but it was hardly noticeable and not worth sending it back over.

I found a small appliance place about 1/2 mile from my house that will sell it to me for $855 with tax which is 17 bucks more than ebay. ($838 with shipping) He can have it in a week to 10 days and will deliver it in the evening when I am home. I have a few more places to get a price from, but I think it is worth the extra 17 bucks to get it local.
Thanks again for your input.

Catfish,
It has now been a few weeks now since you bought the Frigidaire FRTB7B4EMB.
Are you still happy with the product?
How cold can you get the keg?
Any suggestions for a potential buyer?
Thanks.......

I can't answer for Catfish, but I picked mine up on Thursday and put it together. It took about an hour to reverse the doors and install the tapping equipment. On Friday I got the co2 filled and bought a 1/2 half Keg of Coors Light, and tapped it. On Saturday I had a small party. It worked flawlessly. The beer tapping part is all Micromatic and the instructions are simple.
I have the refrigerator setting on "Normal" which is right in the middle, and the freezer set the same. The beer is 38 degrees and the mugs and pints glasses are frosty in the freezer. For 40 bucks I can get an Ice machine for it. But will wait to see if I need additional Ice.
I get Great pours of icy cold beer, first time every time. And just the right head. I just followed the instructions that came with it and set the co2 on 13.
After reading all the problems people have had here with their kegorators, I know I made the right choice.
I would recommend this product to everyone. For 700 bucks, you can't beat it. Catfish and I both got it on ebay. A few people sell them there, but one place has it for 699 plus shipping. I live about 50 miles from one of their warehouses so I picked mine up and saved the shipping. They charge 139. Catfish had his delivered and he said it came in good condition.

Jhon,
Thanks for the response. Great news!!!!! I am looking at the same site on Ebay. I can pick it up in St. Louis, but the shipping is less than diesel I would pay to drive there. It looks like the best option, plus you get a frig and freezer, also. I am waiting for a response from the Ebay site to see if I can get one with the ice maker installed. Thanks, again.

I hope you enjoy it, I have really enjoyed mine. The racks next to the keg are great for keeping lots of soft drinks cold too, and since all the included equipment is MM you know it's good stuff. I found the default setting to be just a touch warm, closer to 40 than the 38 the manual says (IIRC), I have it turned a touch to the right, maybe the 1 or 2 o'clock position and get frosty 36 degree pours every time.

No, my first unit was damaged and a new one is on the way.
Question, can this unit hold the Miller rubber 1/2 kegs and the Coors wide-ring kegs?
Unit should be here this week.
Thank,
Joe

Don't know about the Miller, but mind took a 1/2 keg of Coors Light with room to spare. I don't think you will have any problems with the Miller.

Poured my first beer last night......outstanding. I am still adjusting the CO2. Beer is coming out a little too fast and getting just a bit too much foam. Set it at 12psi when started and now trying 10 psi for tonight's pour. Temperature is steady at 36.7 degrees. I put a digital temperature probe through the lid of a water bottle and it seems to do a great job in monitoring the liquid temperature. The Miller rubberized keg fit perfect. The better half thinks it is great, and she really loves the flavor of draft. Smoooooth!

I have Coors light and keep it at 13LB with no problems. But I guess all beers are different. Good luck and I am glad you’re happy.
My 1/2 is almost empty, and I made a deal with the wife that I would get 1/4 keg this time so she has some extra space to store food. This kegorater replaced our spare refrig. And although it holds a ton of cans and bottles, we do miss the extra food storage space we had. I plan to use the old one in the garage for when I feel the keg is getting empty. I can turn it on and then buy my next keg and keep it in there so there is only a 10 min. lag time when I go empty.

Sounds like you have a great arrangement. I am still adjusting the regulator. I am at 8 psi now. We will see how that does tonight. I bought the ice maker and plan to install that soon. This will give me ice for my bass boat when I go fishing so I do not use the ice from the main frig. The unit is great. Plenty of room for bottle beer to hold me over between kegs. Even room for the wife's wine and other items. This was the best option.

ya know if you keep the psi at 8 you run the risk of flat beer, better to keep the psi to 12 to 14 and get longer beer line, i keep my coors kegs at 16 with a 10 ft line and have perfect pours, just a thought

Howdy all! New to the forum but have been "lurking" for about a month researching different brands and their pros and cons. Finally settled on the Frigidaire Beverege Center and am getting ready to tap my first keg, Dos Equis Amber. I will be getting another 1/6 barrel keg of something soon as I converted it to a two product unit. So far I haven't heard any negatives about this unit and have none to offer. After 24 hours, a digital thermometer in a quart of water reads a steady 36 degrees. Being new to this, any tricks of the trade would be greatly appreciated. Right now I have the 5' lengths of beer and gas tubing installed and will try my CO pressure at 13. Thanks in advance and happy drinking!! (is there any other?!?)
