Put a scale under my keg?
A lightbulb went off today. I think I will place a scale under my keg permantly to calculate remaining beer. Anyone tried this? Any downsides?

You would...
. need to know the empty weight, and each type of keg and beer may be different. Do it and let us know. When I'm getting close, I just tip it to "feel" the weight.

Don't know what kegerator you have, but I tried it with a 1/6 barrel and couldn't fit the scale in my Danby.

seriously? No Sapporo or Kirin? I actually think Miller Lite is the best macro light beer on the market, but that isn't saying a whole lot. Sometimes we buy it between kegs because I can get a case of bottles or a 30pack of cans for 15 bucks.

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed.
Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery
and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might
be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself,
"It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than
be selfish and worry about my liver."

the japanese have a lockdown on all of their kegs. no resturant/bar/licence no keg.....they also require a different coupler which i know is an easy fix.

Just traded my empty Miller Lite rubberized keg today for a keg of Bud Light for my graduation party
The one bar I got the Miller Lite from my brother works at and they forgot to charge me a few months back so I got a free keg and beer. So all it costed me was $60 even for the Bud Light at the other bar my brother works at
