Default Newbie here.. Please review my purchase list

Mod, this can be deleted.... I have EVERYTHING except my pipe/tubing to house my beer lines - couldn't find much on that

Ok, I'm finally ready to build my freezer conversion. I plan to have two kegs with a 5 to 7' air cooled line to my dual tap tower located on my bar top. Can you please review my purchase list to see if I'm buying the correct items, or if there's anything I need to add.

Make sure you check the closeout section for drip trays.

Thanks for the tip, but do you think I can mix a PVD brass tower and a regular polished brass drip tray? It could save me almost $100, but I want them to match (and I don't want to polish anything)

Thanks Again

If you are spending that much why not just get a commercial unit?

To be honest, I'll probably buy a lot of my parts from cheaper places; however, my main problem is location and remote cooling. I don't see how a commercial unit will will help me, because I'll still have a problem cooling the tower (I want it to dispense from a tower located on my bar).

I'll consider your suggestion and do some more research. Right now I can't see going commercial for less than double the cost of my current design.

Default What kinds of beer are you planning to serve ?

Your set up is very similar to mine - I used a free to me old freezer.
The only issue I'd raise with your shopping list is regarding the regulator.
If you are planning to serve beers with different CO2 volumes / pressures then I'd go with a single primary regulator and a T followed by 2 secondary regulators. That way you can easily fine tune your keg pressures independently.
I tried the single regulator route and ended up buying a pair of secondaries.
Good luck.

I'll probably always have a 1/4 of Miller Lite on tap and then something a little more expensive, like Grolsh or Dos XX.

Hmmm, I thought that's what I'd get with the regulator I selected?????? I must be confused....

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply.
No confusion on your part. You have selected the correct dual regulator that WILL allow you to dispense two different beers at different pressures if need be.

Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery
and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might
be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself,
"It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than
be selfish and worry about my liver."

Brass tarnishes so you'll have to polish it unless you have a cleaning person
