Default Please help the beginner with his way over the top plans

ok heres the idea:

i found a ridiculously giant freezer on ebay for 20 dollars. its a chest, 7 feet long. because i got the freezer for so cheap, i feel the need to blow all the money i saved on making this insane. that and i will be living in a house with 6 other guys, so there will be lots of beer to be had. i did the measurements and im thinking im going to run 5 kegs out to draft towers at our bar. before i spend any money or get my hopes up, i wanted to run the idea past all of you knowledgeable fellows.

im going to run a temperature mod on the freezer to bring it down to 36 - 38 degrees. i have a co2 regulator and a 20lb tank laying around ( i used to play paintball). im then going to splurge on a 4 way secondary regulator. im hoping to then run the tubes out of the bottom of the freezer, over 3 feet then up 4 1/2 feet through pvc with either computer fans or blowers, i havent decided yet.

what i am concerned about is the temperature over that long of a run, what type of hoses i should be using, and how to best insulate and cool the towers and pipes.

suggestions or advice?

also, i think im going to just build a pass thru draft tower myself to simply my predicament. since im only 21 in a house of guys, refined looks arent that important so anything that funcations will work. i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? if the it is insulated all the way through, and my blower is strong enough, would this closed circuit work? also, how would i find information on mounting faucets?

Default Go to a bar

I've been checking out the setups at some bars. One place has an 80' run under the concrete floor.
I'd use large, roomy pvc for the beer lines, insulate the outside of it. A small hose, with a small fan, that goes from the bottom of the chest entering at the farthest point of the beer run you can manage, directed back to the chest. Insulate it, too. A 10-12 cfm computer fan on a cell phone charger will do it.
I can picture it. Just can't spell it.

make sure you know where the cooling lines are before you start making holes in the bottom/sides for the beer to exit. If you hit one of those, you'll be shopping for another freezer.

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed.
Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery
and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might
be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself,
"It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than
be selfish and worry about my liver."
