Summit Kegerator

I just purchased a Kegerator from Micromatic (Summit) for my new kitchen, when I received it, it doesn't work (fan is loud, coolant doesn't work), has anyone had experience with Micro-matic as a company? They refuse to take the piece back and provide me with a new one - they want to send a service person. Has anyone heard about that approach - I would suggest that you don't purchase anything from this company given the service.
