Question Air cooled dispensing question

Good day,

This may be a dumb question or not, but after reading the install instructions on putting a 5' air cooled keg dispense system in a home bar, I had to ask myself why would the beer lines run through the pvc pipe that is also in with the return air (warmer air). It states that the blower hose also runs through the pvc pipe, which is obvious, but wouldn't the beer line/s run through the blower hose in with the "coolest air" right from the refigerator? You can splice the beer line into the blower hose. Or does it not really matter much since the circulation of the entire system is short and the blower hose temp when circulated back through the pvc duct to the refrigerator is supplying enough cold air for the beer line/s?

You could do it either way, there are examples of both on this forum. I would try and insulate the pvc pipe, inside or outside so that the return air does not get too warm.
