Default Just a simple newbie question...(Now im in big trouble)

First id like to say this board is awesome! Im building my first kegerator, a chest freezer hid in a closet with lines running through the wall. When I finish hooking everything up should I clean the lines before tapping the first keg? Everything is new, I have the premium two keg kit from mm. Just wondered if everything is clean enough from the f a c t o r y or not? Thanks, your help is appreciated. Now im testing everything out and my freezer is not cooperating. I set my brewer's edge digital thermostat to 37 with a 1 degree difference (temp probe is in a water bottle in the corner on the compressor shelf) and after the freezer shut's off it still keeps getting colder, down to 33 degrees. Right now the freezer is empty, but I have 2 1/6 barrel's comming on Thursday, please help a newb out!

I would at least flush it with hot water first.
