Default Hose fitting

I recently bought a kegerator from nostalgia electric, model #KRS-2100.
Ive been having problems with the regulator and was unable to adjust the pressure. I checked everywhere on the regulator for a way to adjust the pressure, but there was nothing that I could find. So I decided to just say screw it and go out and buy a new regulator. I bought the premium series primary double gauge CO2 regulator off this site. Being the idiot I am I did not realize until I got it that the existing CO2 line I have does not fit on the new regulator. The existing setup I had was with a 1/4 inch hose(I think I measured correctly if its measured by diameter from outside to outside) which came pre-attached to the nipples, which screwed into the regulator and the coupler. The new regulator has an attachment for a 5/16'' hose. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how I can remedy this problem? Is there an adapter that would be able to fit the old hose on the new regulator nipple or am I going to have to buy a whole new hose? And what would I then have to do to connect the new hose to the old coupler? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could soak the end of the gas hose in really warm/hot water and that should loosen it enough to slip over. You could also chew on the end (gross but works) and it would do the same. Or......if you want to do it right you can buy barbed fitting that screw into the regulator. Call Micromatic and they will set you up.

Default New CO2 regulator won't fit

I am so frustrated right now. Buying this kegerator may have been a stupid idea.

I am having the same problem that Scheff was having. The new CO2 regulator's hose nipple won't fit the bolt/nut from my current hoseline. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Is there an attachment/converter that is available? I've checked all websites, and the idea of soaking the line won't work as the line is attached to a metal piece which is then attached to a bolt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
