Default haier co2 regulator shut off valve leaks

See a small screw. Feels tight but wiggles and foams when i spray soap on it. it is a plastic black shut off/on finisher. Scrap it for a better one? Need advise. I lost 2 tanks of co2 because Haier forgot to include the plastic washer from the regulator to the co2 tank. Not ready to waste more loot on co2. Need advise!!!
