Default CO2 Tank

So I just got my Marvel Kegerator today. To my surprise all the parts were made by Micro Matic. :-)

The co2 tank that came with it is a 5lb one. It was all packed up nicely. I have not gone to have it filled yet, but I was wondering this. When I open up the valve on the co2 tank there is a ton of air pressure coming out of it. Could this be filled? or is it some sort of testing stuff to check for leaks?

Weigh the tank. There should be a tare weight on the tank somewhere. See how much of a difference you come up with and you can tell how full it is.

I had brought it to get filled today and the guy told me that the air inside was put in for shipping or something. Either way I got it filled. They also did a cleaning or something or other inside because it was new or something.
