Default What could be the cause of this condensation problem?

Just installed a through the door kit, not a tower in an old fridge. Well, everything is sealed, nice and cold inside, but the faucet on the outside immediately had condensation form around it. The inside doesn't have condensation, just the outside - could this be simply b/c the kegerator is in the basement and humidity? I live in the South, so that could be the issue, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something that was going to affect the quality of my beer or kegerator. Thanks for any tips or insight.

Figure, the inside of your fridge and everything inside it is 30-something degrees. Metal will conduct temperature through your door to the faucet on the outside, and it will be much cooler than the surrounding air on the outside of your fridge. If there is warm, humid air outside, you will get condensation on your faucet. Its perfect normal and wont cause you any problems.

Thanks a lot - I figured it had to do with the coolness of the inside v. the humid basement. Thanks for the confirmation!
