Default Installing a drain on my drip tray?

I have a summit kegerator and it does not have a drain on the drip tray and I'd really like to make one somehow. I'm sick of having parties where my friends have no idea how to pour a beer and the tray fills up in no time.

I was thinking about buying a stainless steel drip tray with a drain and fitting it onto my kegerator.

I just want to hear what anyone has to say before I consider drilling into my investment!

I just installed a drip tray and made it into a drain tray. Just drilled a hole alittle bigger than a piece of beer line threw the tray and then top of the kegerator ran the line threw sealed the top of it with some gorilla glue put the end of the line into a bucket inside and I was good to go....
