Default Fan Direction?

Hey guys.. a long time ago I had to replace the fan inside me Beverage Air BM23. I have recently got my kegorator back up and running.. and its not chilling as low as it used to. I noticed the fan on the inside (condenser?) is blowing back into the box its mounted in.. shouldnt that be blowing the cold air into where the keg is? the main compartment? Is it possible that I reversed the polarity when I reinstalled the fan motor? or is it supposed to pull air into that box and not push it out?

Being an AC fan, polarity should not be an issue. The blades may be pitched in the opposite direction though. I seem to recall someone here replacing a fan and having to modify the mounting to switch it from pull to push.

ok so it should be blowing air into the area where the keg itself is.. and not pushing it back into the condenser box right?

I would assume the cold air from the cooling coils should blow into the keg storage area.

I wasn't trying to be condescending when I chose the word assume. I was myself simply making an assumption as I am not familiar with that kegerator.

haha ok cool.. its hard to read intent sometimes on the internet and a lot of times things that are not meant to be sarcastic or condescending come across that way cause you can't see the person manerisms..
thanks for trying to help

I have to install the new thermostat I ordered anyways.. so I might just turn the fan around.. seems logical to me that it should be blowing also

so over the weekend I installed a new thermostat and I had to pull the thing apart.. looks to me like the fan actually is supposed to pull air in.. that back of the box is open so it pulls air in at the top of the fridge (I guess where the warmest air would be since the warmer it is it would rise) it then pushes it thru the radiator and out the back.. the box doesnt seal around the back so the are gets right back into the are where the keg is.. plus the tube that leaves the condenser box that goes up into the tower too keep the beer in the lines cold.. it is connected to the condensor so if the fan wasnt pushing the air into the condensor, there would be no cold air going up that tube.. didnt make sense at first.. but now it does that I took it apart
