So I finally got my kegerator back home from school (had to find a time where we could go without a mass amount of beer on hand haha) and into my workshop where I could do the install. I ment to take more pictures but I took a few so hopefully they will help anyone lookin to do something similar.
I first took the old tower off and the wooden top of my kegerator off so I could see what I was dealing with. I took a piece of 1 x 6 and drilled my hole into it so I could use it as a guide to drill my larger hole into the kegerator so I can get some air flow in up there. I drilled the 1 x 6 and than clamped it onto the wooden top and drilled the top of the kegerator. I put the wooden top back on and drilled down the rest of the way into the kegerator. I ended up using a 2 3/8" drill bit which ended up perfect because that was the OD of the 2" PVC pipe I used to line the new hole I drilled. I pounded that piece of pipe into the hole and used silicon to seal the inside and out. Mounted my tower and ta-da all done. Now its just a matter of time till im drinking from it again lol. If anyone has any questions I’ll see if I can answer em.
