Default Kegerator alternative (?)

My husband recently acquired a keg which we wish to use with homebrew. We need some way to chill said beer for day-to-day drinking. We don't really have the room for a kegerator at the moment and can't fit the keg in our regular fridge. We considered a jockey box but we're afraid that it would be impractical for everyday, just-want-a-beer-with-dinner kinds of drinking. Also, I'm no sure about this, but it seems like the beer left sitting in the line would oxidize if not drunk in a more timely fashion. Does anyone know of an alternative way to chill beer from a keg?

Welcome to the board!

Not sure theres really that many options for space challenged people. You need something large enough to hold the keg and something that will continuously keep it cold throughout the life of the keg. And in terms of medium term storage, keeping it at the correct temperature is important too.

A kegerator, jockey box, large fridge, or a trashcan filled with ice are about your only options.

Good luck!
