    Default Newbie with Beverage-air Kegerator

    Howdy,

I recently purchased a Beverage-Air kegerator that is old and very used but functional. I purchased the unit for $100 and the refrigeration unit works like a charm - gets down to 34 degrees F. All the despensing components are in need of repair or replacement. My question is: Can I get a replacement front door gasket and a replacement "interior plastic door plate"(for lack of a better term)? Also, I do not know how this particular unit drains it's condensation. It has a stainless steel pan to collect the condensate, but I'm un aware of any other way to drain the system other than to open the front door, remove the pan and drain the water. Seems very labor intensive, especially in this very humid climate a(Gulf Coast, South Texas). There appears to be a drain hole for the dispenser drip pan (upper left hand corner of the back wall as you face the unit), but nothing other than the drip pan for the refrigeration unit. Am I correct in the fact that I'll have to daily (or at least weekly) need to remove the drip pan and drain? Is there an owner's manual for this unit available? This is a Beverage-Air Model # DD23S-GC Serial # PE202303

Sincerely, Pelon - thirsty in hot South Texas.

Default Also have Bev-Air DD23S-GC and Looking for Information

Did you manage to find any documentation on the Beverage-Air DD23S-GC unit? I contacted the company and they indicated it predates their records and was made when the original owners hand built the units. They also indicated that Case Parts in California (800) 421-0271 can make replacement gaskets for the door.

Does anyone have a copy of the owners manual, parts list, or service manual for this unit? Would searching for it under Punxsutawney provide better results? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
