Default Jockey Box kits and stainless coolers

Hey guys, great forum. I have been shopping about for a kegerator and have decided that until I am into this a bit more, I am going to go for the Jockey box idea. This is my first post and I have a couple questions.

I have a bunch of coolers, so why not make my own and save a couple bucks, if I can. the idea for the first question is this;

Can I take a Stainless Coleman cooler and make a 120' coil jockey box with a kit? They seem to hold the ice better, or is there a better cooler to use that is easier to convert?

Secondly, with the 120' coil, has anyone converted something like one of those big, orange water coolers that is more vertical, to fit a 120' coil and everything...or is it a hassle to get a seal for the fittings to go through?

thanks so much in advance for the help, I am going to order everything tomorrow to get it set for my Labor Day block party. I was thinking of a 120' coil with two handles.

If I am missing anything, please let me know.

You will need a cooler big enough to hold the coil(s). I have a jocky box that's in a rubber maid cooler with 2 50ft SS coils side by side. The beer flowing thru the unit will melt the ice faster than the ouside air. A better cooler may help on a warm day if it's sitting outside.
