Default Hello from a new member and a question too...

I had a home made kegerator a few years ago, but moved and have been looking for a reasonably priced fridge to make the conversion myself.

In this period of waiting, I have found a local selling a stainless steel Haier HBF05EBSS with an empty keg, full CO2, and cleaning kit for 325.

Should I take a shot at this one? I read on Amazon where a lot of people had problems and I finally reached this site where I noticed people having luck by changing the thermostat settings. After that step, is the Haier worth the price of 325?

My old kegerator was a faucet type, not a tower - I have briefly read about cooling fans, will I need to purchase one of those? This kegerator will be kept indoors, so it shouldn't be getting much heat (if that matters).

Thanks for the opinions and comments!

Depends on how much more you want to spend
I bought a used danby for 350 and modified with an extra 300 and have a quality unit that is a lot better than a store version for the same price
Its your choice
