    Default temperature

I am debating rather to purchase a Kegerator or continue using the ice chest. My main concern is temperature. I will be storing on my back patio in Texas where average summer temperature is 98 degrees. I have been told that units similar to the Haier, Kenmore and others will not keep the beer cold. Any advice or suggestions?

PBB, I have a sears kenmore unit which is made by sanyo, I have had no issues with the temperature. granted,I keep my unit in the basement which is air cond. I know texas is hot, my inlaws live there and we will be there labor day week. but dont u think having to keep ice around all the time would b a pain in da azz?
