Default Kegerator threw a wall

Hello,

I have a questions conserning building a kegerator. I have a laundry room with an empty wall that I want to put a kegerator in and run the shank threw the wall and have the tap on the wall in the basement. The wall is only 6 inches thick at the most. Will I be able to run a longer shank or a wall shank threw the wall without getting a blower? Or if I insulate around the shank will that keep the beer cold? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

I would think that you would need a blower and a conversion kit.
