Default Adjustable Tap Handle?

My wife ordered one of the Fridgidaire Beverage Centers, it is basically a top mounted freezer/fridge with the tap on the door. One thing I've noticed is that the spout is located high on the door close to the freezer door. It comes with the generic short black tap handle and I would like to be able to use various custom handles but how can I put a larger handle on this and still be able to open the freezer door? I'm thinking others must have this problem if they convert a similar style Fridge/Freezer..... Is there a type of connector that fits between the handle and spout that would enable the handle to tilt sideways so the freezer door can swing open? I envision a hinge that swings left/right to be able to open the freezer door with a collar that slides up over the hinge and then secures so that you can then pull/push the handle to pour...

Does anyone have a solution?

Yes, I've seen that but I think it will only slightly change the angle of the tap handle. I need to be able to flip the handle out of the way of the freezer door... maybe 90 degrees.

Perhaps no one has come across this problem before.... I thought that people doing the conversion might have.

thanks for the suggestion!

I had the same problem with my kegerator. I solved it by bolting a flat metal bracket (1" x 6") to the bottom door (the fridge). This way when I open the freezer, the door opens also. I did this because I would forget and open the door, thus knocking the taps open and wasting precious beer.
