Default Trying to set up Haier kegerator for 1st time!

Hi there. I am new to kegerators and am not very mechanically inclined. I bought a Haier from Costco. I really need help!! I did everything as stated in the instructions (at least I thought I did), then got to the part where the beer comes out, and it came out SLOW. Pressure was at 18psi (too high, from what I am reading). I think I hooked things up in the wrong order. Do I turn on C02 first / set pressure, then insert the keg tap, then push down on tap handle, then release shut-off valve, or???? I bet I am way off. I just want a beer!!

If you have any input I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!
