Default Remote cooling

I would like to have the cooler under counter next to an existing sink. My thought is to put the tower on the sink as oposed to out the top of cooler.

Will a standard under counter kegerator do the trick? Is it really as simple as making sure I have enough line to reach the new tower location?

Any thoughts or experiences would be helpful.

As long as you keep the beer line cool up to the faucet. If using a 3/16" ID beer line would not go any longer than 6ft.
