Default tap turn off????

Prolly a dumb question, but anyway. I want to keep my kegerator full for about 3 weeks evertime i fill it. To do so I have to keep my roomates and their from drinking it. I already have a lock on the door to the fridge. If I turn off the valve to my c02 will the kegrator stay fresh? Is there away to make it where the tap does not dispense beer, but at the same time keeping the beer fresh?

Check these out :

keep the co2 on. Install one of these in the beer line, or in the case of the stainless ones ontop of your keg coupler before the beer line.

These cost more than the inline shutoffs, but I've found this a good solution: http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-...pid-23-41.html

Pull the handle up on the coupler and it doesn't cost you anything. You have the door locked so no one can push it back down

You could always try sharing the keg with your roommates. Individual costs will remain low and you will get alot more use out of your kit.
