Default True Model TDD-1

A local restaurant owner is selling one of these units but before I go ahead and purchase it, I wanted to find out if anyone else knows anything about it? It seems like it's comparable to one from Beverage Air and what I really like about it; cold air is directed in the column which seems like the #1 problem that the lesser grade kegerators have.

Any thoughts?

If the price is right buy it. Have cleaned many of them. Good unit with no pouring problems.

Price is definitely right. Shipping on the other hand...

You can get them for about a grand so use that to determine if you are getting a deal. They are pretty solid units and are comparable to Bev-Air.

If it is a local restaurant, why is shipping an issue?

Ah, good observation.

It's in Ontario; where I used to live. Now, I'm in BC. It's roughly a couple of thousand miles away and according to True's website, the kegerator weighs in at 180 lbs so I'm a little worried what the freight will be. I've never had to ship anything this large before and neither has the seller so if anyone has some ideas, we'd surely appreciate them.

Thanks
