  • Beer still flowing too fast?

Hey guys, am I glad I found this forum!

Ok, I went from having a Summit unit that was virtually trouble free and bought a Nostalgia kegerator (yeah, I know... got what I paid for). I did the typical stuff up front, new regulator and a new 5' 3/16" ID beer line.

I'm pouring at 37*F and 12 PSI (Bud Select) and the beer seems to be coming out WAY too fast still, causing some foaming issues. It'll fill a 12oz glass in under 2 seconds. Any suggestions? Would adding more beer line slow it down any?

    Thanks.

If your sure about the pressure and temp than add more beer line. Line lenght is what controls the flow. But, are you measuring beer temp with a calibrated thermometer? 37deg or 12psi, one of the 2 is incorrect.
