  • Flat bottom refrigerator recommendations for conversion

We have had a pretty basic top-mount refrigerator converted to a tap system for years, and love it!

We are getting ready to replace the refrigerator, and would love to find one with a flat bottom (still with a top-mount freezer).

Any specific suggestions / recommendations would be appreciated!

    thanks!

    Welcome to the forum...

Most all household refrigerators with a freezer on top will have bump out at the bottom-rear to accommodate the compressor assy at the back of the unit. Your best bet is to build up the bottom with wood blocks & plywood or do as I did with my conversion & weld up a bottom framework to conform to the bottom of your unit to give you a flat surface.
