I'm going to drill a small hole in the rear of my keezer collar for the wire for my fan and thermostat wire, which seems like what everyone is doing. My question is, what are you doing to then seal up that hole with the wires in it so that you don't vent cold air? How are you guys insulating that hole? I was thinking a shot of "great stuff" would do it, but then those wires would be permanently stuck in that hole. Any suggestions?

Before you drill you had best make sure there are no refrigerant lines in the way. Some freezers have the condenser on the exterior skin of the unit. Feel the exterior of the unit while it is running & see if they are warm/hot. If they are - don't drill.
