  • Outdoor Kegerator in the high desert

We'd like to use a standard kegerator outdoors during April - October. As we're high desert, temps do drop to freezing Apr - early Jun and Sep/Oct. Highs generally max out in the mid 80s, although we've had a few 90 degree days and a week of 100ish once. With low humidity though, I can't imagine that there would be much issue.

What are your thoughts? I really can't see spending the money for a true outdoor kegerator. We wouldn't use it that often, since we live in pretty much the Beer Mecca of the nation. It's just to make a few parties easier.

    The 2Hubz,

If I were you, I'd just get a standard commercial unit and just roll out when needed, if not, think about jockey box or similar, if you don't have many parties, you really don't NEED a a outdoor unit. When you don't have parties, if you have it inside, you don't have to go outside to grab a pint.
