Loose Shank on Marvel 61HK

Just cleaned my taps, and suddenly the Shank is loose. Does the cap on the tower come off for access? If so, how do I take the cap off?

Should pop off. Usually just a friction fit.

Thank you! That's the confirmation I needed before I started pounding on it! Two smacks with a dead fall against a painter's tool and it popped right off, without a scratch! Also helped that I removed the tower, so I could smack it around on my work bench. Thanks again!
