Those of us from the older ham radio days called a beer an 807. This was a vacuum tube ??? used in transmitters. It was a large tube, in the shape of a beer bottle. Going to get an 807 refers to obtaining a tall, cold Sud(s). Hey there's another term!

I grew up calling "Cold Barley Soup, with a Dash of Hops". Now I just refer to it as "Refilling my Blood Stream".

Ive been known to use many terms, here they are in order of usage:

1. Road Sodas (dont advocate drinking and driving though)
2. Brewskis
3. Brews
4. Buds
5. Liquid Dangles, hockey term when drinking before a skate, example: "what you doin before practice? Nothing, wanna grab some liquid dangles?"
6. Beers ( or " BE-AHS " )......Boston accent
7. Tall ones
8. Cold ones
9. B's
10. Courage in a can

WOW! Way tooo many frickin terms. This only took 5 seconds to think of,.. I got a drinkin problem ! lol haha

bear (or bare)
when someone else is getting a beer ill say "get me one" or "draw two!"
when getting myself a beer ill ask "anyone else?"

its kinda just one of those things where everyone knows what youre talking about!

When my nephew was younger, he would refer to it as "Daddy's Juice."

Personally, I call it "Divorce Juice."

I grew up hearing my dad tell his buddies "Come on over for some cold ones and we'll get a little Popped".

'Getting Popped' is classic.
