Check for a manufacturer name and model number so that the size of the unit can be determined Is there ice on the coils in the glycol chiller's bath? Have you determined the freeze point of the bath? The ice on the lines 50' away normally signifies poorly insulated lines with no moisture barrier present. Be certain that the temperature reading is actually 40 degrees. Always use a calibrated thermometer. Your towers should be replaced with towers that are designed for glycol systems.
