Guinness will run fine through a cold plate, in fact, some bars, although it is not the best way to do it, still run Guinness through a cold plate or coil box. Make sure you have a 75/25mix, put your pressure to 35, keep plenty of ice on and under the cold plate,and you should have no problems. Keep the keg cold with regular ice,(no dry ice needed),in fact, you don't have to be AS concerned with ice on the keg as you do the ice on the cold plate, although it is something to still keep in mind. Should last quite a while without problems. Enjoy your vacation.( I'm jealous) Tapman
