Adding 45 ft. of line to the first tower is definitley not the answer! You may be getting in over your head if you don't understand the restriction in a beer system. Is the existing system glycol or air shaft? The second tower is definatley going to have to be glycol. Do you know how much resistance is built in to the existing system? You will need to run a blender on the second tower, so if you adjust the resistance on the first tower to match the 22lbs you'll need to run the second tower at, it will work without any problem. You wouldn't do this by lengthening the line, you adjust the choker at the tower. The beer shouldn't be "T"'d but you can put it on "Y"s in the cooler, on the keg or at the wall bracket.
