Preferably a 1/4" drop per foot for proper draining. At times you may be able to join the condensate drain line for the evaporator pan. 1/4" ID vinly line with
1/4" plastic "T"s work quite well. Normally do not need to clamp. Always push vent while cleaning and then rinse as well to keep vent and plumbing free from sticking and blockage.
