Question about "Double" IPA's
Fairly new to the craft brew beer game. I mainly like Porters and Stouts. Am considering a half barrel of seasonal Duschute Brewery "Hop Henge" DIPA. Don't like to much of the citrus taste in beers. Has anyone tried this? Bottles not available in my area, so I cannot try ahead of time, but I can get a keg. Don't know if I would like 13.2 Gallons of it. Do most IPAs have a citrus/grapefriut taste to them? Would the "Double" IPA have less citrus taste or more? Reviewers say it is a well balanced IPA with 8% alcohol content. Any thoughts?
