I'm guessing this must be an older model of the Danby. I'd make sure the compressor is running first. If the compressor is accessible, put your hand on top of it. You should be able to feel it running. The discharge line should get hot and the return line should be cool. If the compressor runs and works, I say the Danby temperature control isn't any better in the older units than the older ones. Try this link:
