OH, I have no problem keeping the keg cold, But I still have the "warm tower foam" issue. I am hoping the blower will solve losing half a glass of beer. (not really, I drink the foam too... UUURPPP!!)
The temp controller that I have is an external digital unit with a temp probe inserted through a small hole (under the CO2 line) and into a glass of water on the top of the keg. I wired mine straight into the compressor (cut the red wire at the compressor, and tied the black to the red, capped the other end of the red, (keeps the breaker active that way), then white to white. Wiring it that way keeps the fan (wimpy as it is) working, along with the digital display. I keep the danby sensor in the air next to the glass where the external sensor is to compare air temp to liquid temp.
I am going to temporarily set up the blower for a week, and see if there is a difference.
