1) Hose to tank...no....regulator to tank....yes

3) There are only 2 hoses that go to the coupler, one from the CO2 tank and and the other to the faucet

5) No, when you purchase a new tower the hose going up the tower will already be connected to the faucet inside the tower.
All in all you will need 2 washers, one at the connection of the regulator to the CO2 tank and one at the connection at the top of the coupler with the hose that leads up the tower to the faucet.
