Sounds like you need too find a second keg distributor for times like these. We have a couple of local stores that have a pretty good selection of kegs on hand at all times (of course, I live right next to UNH and they have to keep the college kids happy), so if the distributor is closed (and it closes at 4:30) or Redhook can't hook me up on short notice, I can always hit one of these places in a pinch. Can't see the stip being a whole lot of help unless you have someplace to store a second keg. True, you will know when you are low, but I can't see being accurate enough to say "go get a new keg as you have only two beers left in this one", if you know what I mean.
