do you have the handle on the keg coupler in the down and locked position? if so, try this with the keg. put a paper towel on the keg ball and very gently press down, if air and beer comes out you might have a bad coupler.
also a lil tidbit of info, if you drink different beers, imports, craft etc. it is a good idea to invest in the usual D coupler, G,S,and U. handy to have around if you buy a keg and dont know the coupler letter.
