Not everything is available in sixtels, but they're gaining popularity at a quick pace. I think a lot of brewers are doing away with the 1/4 barrels and moving towards sixtels. They're especially popular with craft brews, as 1/2 barrels of good craft brew can be quite expensive. If you called a liquor store that deals mainly in macro brew, and you asked for a sixtel, you might get a "what's a sixtel?" out of them too, so you might want to call around to make sure the beers you want on tap are available in sixtels before you go out and purchase a 3 tap setup.

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed.
Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery
and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might
be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself,
"It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than
be selfish and worry about my liver."
