Although this maybe the problem, it's probably something a little more simple. Without knowing what beer your using my first thought would be the probe washer stuck to the last barrel that was tapped. This would allow the CO2 to escape up along the probe and giving the kicked appearance. If so get a new probe washer. One other thing it might be is the washer in the top of the keg maybe damaged. Un tap the keg and check the top of the keg for any damage to the seal, also make sure nothing fell in the top that would not allow a good seal to take place.
