"U" Coupler
This one is kind of off the wall but I think that I have an old U coupler. It is Micromatic with the ergro lever, it fits in empty Guinness keg and all. The problem is the rubber seal on the bottom looks like it has a little dry rot and should be rebuilt. Dont want to find out the hard way with $150+ on tap. MM has a newer style coupler on the web store that looks like the parts are not interchangable. Did I get an old obsolite dinosaur that can't be rebuilt? Will Micromatic exchange it for a new one? Do they still have the gaskets available? I would like to use this one for the next keg because I like the egro grip thing(other U is a squeeze type). Maybe some oldtimers might know of this coupler, any help is appreciated.
