So I have my new Danby from Sams and the only mod I did to it was I moved the thermo sensor to the upper left. Today a cup of water on the keg was 31.5 (frozen) and beer from the keg was also 31.5. The thermostat was set to 36.

I turned it up to 40 degrees about 5 hours ago and put a new cup of water inside (on top the keg). 5 hours later the cup of water reads 41 degrees and beer from the keg is reading 33.0.

Question: Does it take longer than 5 hours to cool a tap water temperature cup of water down to what I was hoping would be 36 degrees (31.5 + 4)?

Question: Does it take longer than 5 hours for the keg to heat up from the previous 31.5 to whatever it is going to stop at (hopefully 35-36 degrees)?

If anyone has only moved their temp sensor, what did you set your thermostat to?
