If you want to special order something like Bell's Two Hearted on this side of the river, you should call 33 Wine Shop in Lafayette. They are hands down tip top at getting something in for you. Don't let the name fool you. They are WELL versed on their beer and usually have bottles of stuff flat out impossible to get elsewhere. The guy running their beer side of the store is an uber beer geek.

I just ordered from the liquor store close to my house. Yes, they have a decent selection of bottled beer, but I'm getting the feeling they don't really have reps at their distributors who give a cr@p. Still no Two Hearted for me. I'm actually going over to your neck of the woods for my next keg. Bon Vivant in Columbia can get me a 1/2 barrel of Founder's Centennial IPA for $150. They can also get me a 1/2 barrel of Dog Fish Head 90 minute, but that's a bit steep at $270 That stuff is $10 a 4 pack, so it's not a bad deal, it's just a bit much for me to spend on a keg. We can't get Founders or Dog Fish Head on this side of the river. Their keg availability rotates pretty frequently, so you just have to call Andrew over there. He e-mailed me a list of what's available as of July 14.

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed.
Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery
and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might
be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself,
"It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than
be selfish and worry about my liver."
